Jakarta, Monday, December 8, 2008 – Striker Aleksandar Duric is out for 10 days, ruling him out of the game against Indonesia tomorrow in the ASEAN Football Championship (Suzuki Cup).

His place in the squad was taken by Noh Alam Shah who scored the first goal in the 3-1 win over Myanmar yesterday.

Noh Alam Shah though asked to be substituted in the second half and Indra Sahdan came on for him.

Agu Casmir, the fourth striker in the squad, has four goals to his name and is the joint-top scorer in the championship at the moment.

As a result of his injury, Aleks may return to Singapore earlier than the rest of the squad. The 38-year-old striker has 15 caps and has scored 5 goals for Singapore.

Singapore has won both their group games and have now qualified for the semi-finals.

The game against Indonesia will determine who finishes top of their group after Indonesia thrashed Cambodia 4-0.
