Football: LionsXII do not sell out tickets for first time in pre-match sales

Jalan Besar Stadium, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 — For the first time since the start of the 2012 Malaysian Super League season, the LionsXII have not been able to sell out tickets during the pre-match sales period.

After four days of ticket sales for the upcoming home match between the LionsXII and the 2011 Malaysia Cup champions Negeri Sembilan, a total of 75% of tickets have been sold, according to a statement from the Football Association of Singapore (FAS). The Gallery seats were all taken up by 6pm.

For the previous three home games, all tickets were sold during the pre-match sales period. The capacity at Jalan Besar Stadium is 7,500.

The remaining tickets will go on sale on the day of the match, February 11th, from 5pm onwards at Jalan Besar Stadium. Only Singaporean citizens and permanent residents will be allowed to buy the tickets. Each person is limited to four tickets.
