About a week ago, I got an email from Jason Dasey asking if he could reference some of the material we had on Aleksandar Duric.

Some of you may recall, we did a five-part interview series with Aleks Duric which got nominated for the S.League Story of the Year award, and that was the interview that Dasey wanted to reference.

What was classy about Jason Dasey was that he took the trouble to ask us if he could reference our story. He also gave us a credit in the story.

In most instances in Singapore, we’ve had folks rip us off for their own stories or forums without telling us or giving us credit. We know it happens because the material is familiar and sometimes it’s just wholesale cut and paste.

For Jason Dasey and soccernet.com to credit us shows professional ethics at its best. As the title of his piece says, class is permanent. And Dasey has it.

Jason Dasey’s piece: Class is permanent
