Saturday, December 20, 2008 – Either football fans are leaving it very late or it looks like there aren’t enough of them.

At the end of ticket sales today at 5pm, only 23,355 tickets have been sold for the game against Vietnam tomorrow at 8pm at the National Stadium.

The game tomorrow is the crucial second leg semi-final of the ASEAN Football Championship (AFF Suzuki Cup). The first leg semi-final game in Hanoi ended in a 0-0 draw earlier this week.

It would be a pleasant surprise if there are 50,000 fans tomorrow and a 30-35,000 crowd now looks more realistic.

Tickets will go on sale from 5pm onwards at the East Entranace of the National Stadium. Primary school students and below get free entry to the gallery if they display a valid ID.
