Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a board sports enthusiast. I’ve been involved in most of the board sports for a few years now such as skateboarding, skimboarding and surfing. Before flowriding, I’ve been skimboarding for about 10 years.

How long have you been a flowrider?
It has been a year since Oct 2009 now.

What do you enjoy most about Flowriding?
The best thing about it is going big on the barrel and being very technical on the flowrider. The environment and friends that I’ve made here also make it really enjoyable.

What is your game plan for the Contiki IFC?
I’ll try not to pressure myself too much and will try to remain calm and focused. I hope to be able to get some technical tips from the other international riders when they’re here and improve my skills.

What kind of training have you done leading up to the event?
I’m practicing harder now, and I’ll train at least two hours a day, three to four times a week. I’m also working on a new trick on the rider and trying my best to be consistent.

What is your usual fitness programme like and what does it consist of?
I jog once in a while but I think riding itself will help me to obtain a fit body condition.

What do you say to anyone keen to try Flowriding?
Just go for it and don’t hesitate. It’s really fun and you will definitely enjoy it. Also try to listen to the instructors because they’re the best people to guide you.

Why would you encourage others to participate?
I want to see the sport grow bigger and more popular in a few years’ time.
