Padang, Sunday, March 1, 2009 – Bad weather meant only the Plate finals were played in the Singapore Cricket Club Hockey 6s earlier this month.

In the women’s Plate final, Valley Pandettes edged Kowloon Cricket Club 1-0.

Both teams from Hong Kong have been regular participants of the SCC Hockey 6s but it Kowloon Cricket Club who created more opportunities to break the deadlock.

However, their attempts all came to nought and the match was sent into extra-time and #28 of Valley Pandettes scored the golden goal.

In the men’s Plate final, Gymkhana Club beat YMCC YD 4-2.
