Bishan Stadium, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 — Singapore’s Nadine Nathan and Janessa Dai finished fifth and sixth respectively out of eight competitors at the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Women’s Floor Exercise final.

Nadine came in fifth with a 13.133 showing. She had earlier won a bronze medal in the Women’s Individual All-Around in the Games. Janessa was one place behind with a score of 13.100.

Janessa said, “I was quite happy with my routine and I enjoyed myself during the routine, so that was most important. My routine’s difficulty is not really comparable, as it’s a bit lower than the others, so I guess I just aimed to enjoy myself today and I did it.”

On her aim for the upcoming competitions, Janessa added, “There’s World Champs coming up. I think we just have to aim to up our difficulty and just train our consistency.”

Malaysia’s Farah Ann clinched gold with 13.733 for her sixth medal of the Games.
