Regardless, a victory was a victory.

“[I am] relieved. It’s good to get the weight off. We took a loss last game, so it’s always good to bounce back and get it over yourself. We will take it. They are a tough team, they came out and played hard and they were a really tough team. They played tough, we broke them down there by the end. They stuck with us. We kind of did not stick to our game plan of throwing the ball like we wanted to, but like I said, we still pulled it out in the end and we were able to come with a sharp fourth quarter.

“Good job to them, they played hard. That one player scored the ball pretty well, 8 (Tolomia). he had some big shots early in the game. So I mean, for them being the bottom team, the Barracudas were a lot better than they were last year, so good job to them, they came in here, they did what they wanted to do, they gave us a good game, they gave us a run for our money, so we definitely would be prepared for them the next time they come into the building.” said Jeffers.

“Very good. Very great. Just fantastic,” said Desmond Oh about his personal performance. “I didn’t contribute to the team much in the last few games so recently, I have been training really hard and I did some extra work with Leo.”

For their next game, the Slingers will travel to Bangkok to play the Thailand Slammers on Saturday, December 4th while the Barracudas will go to KL to play the Dragons on the same day.
