Thrower Melissa Yee struck gold again on the last day of the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) track and field competition with a second gold medal and new personal best in discus throw, while National University of Singapore (NUS) had a clean sweep of the overall titles for the fourth year running.
National pole vaulter Chan Sheng Yao clinched his first ever IVP gold medal and set a new men’s pole vault record at 4.71m to complete a strong comeback after failing to clear any height in last year's competition.

His winning time is also 0.01s outside his national record of 14.38s set in 2015 at the Singapore SEA Games.
