Jurong East Sports Hall, Saturday, March 15, 2009 – Marlins trumped Mannas 37 – 29 to continue their winning streak in the Netball Super League.

An impressive third quarter set up the Marlins for their victory.

Marlins took a three-points lead at the end of the first quarter and maintained it throughout the second quarter. In the third quarter, the Marlins showed what they were capable by widening the gap with their opponents and they entered the fourth quarter with a comfortable eight-point lead.

The Mannas threatened and closed the gap to only four points at 7:32 on the clock but the Marlins were not affected and held on for a 37-29 win.

In an earlier game, Vipers beat Sharks by a narrow 49-47 margin. The lead was exchanged several times and neither team took more than a four-point lead.
