Palawan Beach, Sentosa, Sunday, March 8, 2009 – 59 teams tried their hand at beach netball in the Contiki Beach Netball Festival.
This tournament new rules introduced to add excitement to the games. These included 3-point shooting (3 points would be awarded for any successful shots that is taken in the goal third and not inside the goal circle), and allowing diving for the ball.
After a day of intensive competition, Underdogs, Barricade and Frenz won the Open Mixed, Women U23 and Women Open categories respectively.
In the Women U23 final, Barricade went up against Adidas Sneakers Friedfish. Both teams were tied 9-9 at full time. Barricade was the first team to score three goals in overtime to win the final 12-10.
In the Mixed Open final, tge Underdogs took on Gobstoppers. Underdogs took home the victory with their key player, Eric, making many crucial interceptions.
In the Women Open final, Frenz beat Tsunami 6-2 without much difficulty.

Cause its like, many others would like to participate as well, but might not be old enough.
