Jurong East Sports Complex, Saturday, February 28, 2009 – In the opening game of the Netball Super League 2009, Marlins defeated the Vipers 38-31.
Marlins led by four at the end of the first quarter and held off the Viper challenge to maintain a three-point lead at the half.
The Vipers however levelled at 28-28 in the third but could not pull themselves ahead and eventually went down 31-38.
