B Div 400m Hurdles: Raymond Lee of SJI and Calvin Quek of Victoria smash c’ship record in close finish

Raymond won the gold medal in a record time of 55.04 seconds, just a hundredth of a second ahead of Calvin, as they mowed down the previous championship marks of 56.3 sec (Hand-timed), set by Lin Guoxiong in 1987, and 56.48 (Electronically-timed), set by Timothee Yap two years ago.

B Div Cross-Country: Yu Jie of Catholic High fastest; Victoria defend team title

Heng Yu Jie of Catholic High hit the finish line in 13 minutes 39.23 seconds to win the B Division category at the 53rd National Inter-School Cross-Country Championships. He was followed closely by Marcus Ng of Victoria School who finished just over four seconds behind in 13:43.76.
