Singapore Sports Hub Community Open House

Festivities marking a one-year countdown to the 28th SEA Games and 8th ASEAN Para Games will be held in conjunction with the Community Open House at the new Singapore Sports Hub, providing Singaporeans a first-hand experience of the new sports, entertainment and lifestyle facilities.

The Sports Hub Community Open House will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., on June 27, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on June 28.

Day one of the festivities include various sports try-outs such as floorball, frisbee and sepak takraw. There will also be a “One Year to SEA Games” walk-a-jog, that will take participants in and around the new Sports Hub. Participants of the walk-a-jog will receive an exclusive t-shirt to commemorate the event. Members of the public can also look forward to a fireworks and laser display to mark a one-year countdown to the Games.

Day two of the festivities include several other sports try-outs such as archery, boxing, basketball and more at the OCBC Arena. There will also be various sports demonstrations and aquatic performances at the OCBC Aquatic Centre.

Members of the public will also be able to register as volunteers for the 28th SEA Games and 8th ASEAN Para Games.

Admission to the facilities at the Sports Hub will be free through the event.

Members of the public are advised to commute via public transport to avoid congestion.
