Singapore will field its largest away contingent of 569 athletes for a Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur this August. The athletes will take part in 35 sports at the 29th SEA Games. Four sports – cricket, ice hockey, ice skating, and indoor hockey – will be contested for the first time at the Games.
Timothy Tay and Gregory Gan finished 6th and 7th in the men's parallel bars event of the artistic gymnastics programme.
Hoe Wah Toon and Terry Tay come in 7th and 8th but clinch bronze medal in Men's Team.
Nadine came in fifth with a 13.133 showing. Janessa was sixth behind Nadine with a score of 13.100.
Team Singapore gymnasts finish sixth and eighth in the beam final of women's artistic gymnastics.
On the last day of the competition, Aizat Muhammad Jufrie collected the fourth bronze medal for Singapore.
The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) has released the list of athletes representing Singapore at the upcoming 28th SEA Games. There will be a total of 748 athletes and 230 officials representing 36 sports from Singapore.
The 6th Singapore National Championships saw nine gymnasts take home Individual All-Around honours over two days of action.
