National B Div Vball: Defending champs St Hilda’s drawn in tough second round group

The release of the second round groupings for the National B Division Volleyball Championship saw defending champions St Hilda’s Secondary drawn in a tough group alongside West Zone champions Shuqun Secondary, 2011 runners-up Punggol Secondary and Fairfield Methodist Secondary.

St Hilda’s had finished on top of Group C while Shuqun topped Group A. Punggol and Fairfield were second in their respective groups.

In Group Y, East Zone champions and Group B leaders Dunman Secondary are drawn together with North Zone champions Xinmin Secondary and the match between the two is likely to be a hotly contested one. Catholic High and Clementi Town make up the rest of the group.

The second round will commence on Monday, March 19.
