National B Div Bball: Boys’ season preview
With the National B Division Basketball Championship just around the corner, we take a look at some of the teams featured in this year's contest.
South Zone C Div Bball: Kuo Chuan Presbyterian beat Queensway 41–22
Gildon (KCP #13) led all scorers with 14 points, while Justin Sim (QSS #4) paced his team with 8 points.
South Zone C Div Vball: Fairfield Methodist beat Queensway 2–0 to qualify for semis
This is Fairfield Methodist's second consecutive win in the tournament, and they will face Zhong Hua Secondary in their final group game.
South Zone C Div Bball: Queensway pull away in final quarter to beat St. Andrew’s 43–33
Calvert Tay (SAS #10) led all scorers with 18 points, while Justin Sim (QSS #4) had 17 in his team's win.
C Div 200m Breaststroke (Boys): Dynes Quek of Sports School wins gold and sets new U-14 record of 2:27.00
The previous age group mark was held by Brilliant Chua when he clocked a time of 2:27.84 at the 36th South-east Asian Age Group Swimming Championships. Dynes smashed the record by 0.84 seconds, and also took a massive three seconds off his 2:30.17 PB.
National B Division Bball: Ahmad Ibrahim bring down Queensway 46–39
Choo Yi Zhao (AIS #10) and Ikhide (AIS #11) led their team with 13 points each, while Pacifico Rafio (QSS #8) had a game-high 18 points.
National B Div Bball: Unity hold on for 64–58 win over Queensway
Thng Yong-An (USS #5) finished with a game-high 19 points, while Pacifico Rafio (QSS #8) and Chua Hao Jun (QSS #12) had 18 points each.
National B Div Basketball (Boys): Dunman rout Queensway 71–28
Joshua Alas (DSS #7) had a game-high 18 points, while Michael Pacifico (QSS #8) had a team-high 7 points.
