Damian's smooth execution in the final stretch helped him overhaul the fast tiring Ken Hayashi from National Junior College in the final 50 metres, who could only watch on helplessly, unable to summon any more energy in his legs after having powered through the first 200 metres and led for most of the race.
Jeft clocked 14.73 seconds with a tail wind of 0.1 metre/second in the final, ahead of National Junior College's Ken Hayashi and Victoria School's Gabriel Lee, who both posted 14.98 seconds in a photo finish.
Thiruben's time went under the electronically-timed (ET) championship record of 1:57.10, set by ACS(I) alumnus Zachary Devaraj in 2011.

Valentia Wong (CC #21) led all scorers with 22 points as Christ Church cruised past NJC.
It came down to each school’s fourth-fastest B Division runner – ACS(I) had Joshua Loo in 11th, while HCI’s George Lai was 15th.
