Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 — With a timing of 12.94, Raine Oh (#89) of Singapore Sports School claimed the title in her C Division girls’ 100m debut at the 56th National Inter-School Track and Field Championships.

Raine was the only athlete in the field to cover the 100 metres in under 13 seconds. Her timing is also a new personal best. She started training for this event only last January. Her only event last year was the C Division girls’ 80m hurdles.

“I’m happy with my performance because I hit a sub-13, and I have been aiming for that since the Singapore Youth and Junior Athletics Championship,” said Raine.

Haanee Hamkah of Cedar Girls’ followed in second place with a timing of 13.01 seconds, while Kaitlyn Hong from Nanyang Girls’ High finished third with a timing of 13.24 seconds.
