Bukit Gombak Stadium, Thursday, April 16, 2015 — Cedar Girls’ Secondary’s Joanne Soh (#232) took home the C Division girls’ triple jump gold with a distance of 9.97 metres at the 56th National Inter-School Track and Field Championships.

This is Joanne’s first time participating in the triple jump event and it is her only event this year.

“I didn’t manage to hit my personal best so I’m not very satisfied (with my performance), but I think it’s still okay. There is room for improvement,” said Joanne, whose personal best is 10.02m.

Cham Jay Yin (#28) of CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ and Yin Yichen (#253) of Cedar Girls’ Secondary clinched the silver and bronze medals with distances of 9.90m and 9.74m respectively.
