Chua Chu Kang Stadium, Thursday, April 11, 2013 — Nurul Natasha bte Mualim put Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary in the limelight when she clinched the B Division 400m gold in a personal best of 62.34 seconds at the 54th National Schools Track and Field Championships.

The top three all finished within a second of each other, with Pan Xin Min and Claudia Sng, both of Nanyang Girls’ High, clocking 62.37s and 62.46s respectively.

Xin Min was in the lead at the 150m mark, but by the 250m mark, Natasha decided to make her move.

“I’m really happy with my personal best today!” she beamed.

When asked about her aspirations in the event, she replied: “I’ll still be in the B Division next year, so I hope to clock 60 seconds next year!”

Natasha will also run in the 200m final.
