Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall, Monday, April 2, 2012 — Bukit Merah Secondary held their nerve to beat Teck Whye Secondary 2-1 in a penalty shootout to win the National B Division Girls’ Floorball Championship.

The game had finished deadlocked at 5-5 after regulation time.

Bukit Merah beat Springfield 3-2 in the semi-final while Teck Whye had thrashed East Spring Secondary 6-0 in the other semi-final.

Bukit Merah finished the season undefeated with a perfect 10-0 win-loss record and they showed their scoring prowess by outscoring their opponents by a collective 88 goals to 12 in the first two rounds. Their previous title win was in 2010 when they also beat Teck Whye with a score of 4-2.

Teck Whye finished the national campaign with a 7-1-1 record.

Springfield beat East Spring 4-1 to finish third.
