ACJC, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 – The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) beat Anglo-Chinese Junior College 10-5 for their fourth successive victory to qualify unbeaten for the semi-finals of the A Division Rugby Championship.

ACS(I) started off their season with a 80-0 thumping of Hwa Chong Institution and followed that up with a 67-0 win over Pioneer Junior College.

ACS(I) then beat Catholic Junior College 80-6 before following that up with the defeat of ACJC yesterday.

ACJC finished second in the table with victories over PJC (67-6) and HCI (48-0).

In Group A action, Raffles Institution beat St Andrew’s Junior College 31-3 to finish top of their group with a perfect 3-0 win-loss record after previous victories over Millennia Institute (44-0) and Jurong Junior College (43-0). SAJC finished second with a 2-1 record, their victories coming over JJC (41-0) and MI (24-3).

ACS(I) will now meet SAJC in one semi-final while RI will play ACJC in the other. The semi-final matches are scheduled for May 5th, at the Old Police Academy.
