Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and St Andrew’s Secondary are on course to meet again in the B Division Rugby Championship final this year. If current form is anything to go by, they just have the mere formality of a semi-final to overcome tomorrow.

ACS(I), who fell 10-17 to St Andrew’s in last year’s final, are set to meet St Joseph’s Institution (SJI) in the semi-finals tomorrow st the Old Police Academy.

ACS(I) have a perfect 6-0 win-loss record and have outscored their opponents by a whopping 425-0.

ACS(I) come up against an SJI team that has a 4-1-2 win-draw-loss record. While, SJI have outscored their opponents 199-28 on their way to the semi-finals, they are expected to struggle against ACS(I).

In the other semi-final, defending champions St Andrew’s will play Raffles Institution. The Saints, like ACS(I), are unbeaten and have a perfect 7-0 record and they achieved it by outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 466-25.

Their opponents, RI, have a 5-1-1 win-draw-loss record while putting together 220-115 scoring record. RI’s biggest loss came in their last game against ACS(I), where they went down 0-67.

19 schools took part in the B Division Rugby Championship this year, down from 21 last year.
