The remaining gold medals swept by Bryan Tay were in the 50m Freestyle as well as 200m Freestyle events. He also competed in the 100m Butterfly and 50m Butterfly events in which he won Silver for both. The swimmer from Aquatic Performance Swim Club will represent Singapore for swimming in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The next most promising compatriot for the Beijing Olympics this year is 15-year-old Quah Ting Wen from The Grassroots Aquatic Club. Quah Ting Wen gave a flawless performance by finishing first in all seven events she competed in, smashing five national records in the Women's 15 to 17-year-old category for the 50m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley and 100m Freestyle events. Her remaining gold medals were in the 200m Freestyle and 200m Butterfly events.

Speaking at the event today, the bubbly Ting Wen said, "I am really pleased with my performance today. I am blessed to have the support from my coaches and hope to have the honour of representing Singapore for the Olympics. That in itself would be a dream come true for me."

The other remarkable performances of the day were 12-year-old Lionel Khoo Chien Yin from Chinese Swimming Club Singapore and 16-year-old Ng Tze Kang from Swimfast Aquatic Club. Lionel Khoo broke the national records in the 50m Breaststroke and 100m Breaststroke events (Men's 12-year-old category). Two top swimmers from the championships will be rewarded with a pair of Beijing Olympic packages comprising an all expenses-paid trip for two to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games with return flights, accommodation and of course, the opportunity to watch Olympic events live. Manulife Financial and the Singapore Swimming Association will announce the two deserving swimmers at a later date.
