Sweat, tears and a whole lot of teamwork were on display yesterday at the Yuying-adidas Invitational Basketball League. Ngee Ann Secondary won their first game of the league when they beat Nan Hua High 40-32. Said Scott Driscoll, from Ngee Ann after the game: "We worked hard together as a team, and we continue to strive hard to the next level!"
In the other Boys’ game, Unity were comfortable 54-34 winners over Yishun.
In the Girls’ games, host school Yuying Secondary beat Cedar Girls’ 31-27 while Unity mirrored the success of their Boys’ team with a 62-47 win over St Anthony Canossian.
