Yishun beat Hwa Chong Institution 49-32 yesterday in the adidas It Takes 5ive Championship to set up a final meeting against Commonwealth.

By the end of the first quarter, Yishun were clear leaders at 17-6. Although HCI matched them point-for-point in the second, the huge lead they built in the first quarter allowed them a comfortable 27-16 at half-time.

In the third, Yishun shut out HCI enough to outscore them 14-7 to take a 41-23 lead into the fourth before wrapping it up 49-32.

Yishun will now meet Commonwealth on Thursday, 30 August 2007 at 2:30 pm. The game will tip-off at the Singapore Basketball Centre.
