Dunman High led 15-6 at the end of the first quarter and shut down the offensive threat of Naval Base even more in the second quarter by limiting them to no more than three points to walk off at half-time with a lead of 30-9. By the end of the third, Dunman High were leading 48-14, comfortable enough for them to play their reserves and let Naval Base outscore them 4-20 in the final quarter. Poh Wei Hao of Naval Base had a game-high 30 points, including four 3-pointers in his team’s losing effort.

Dunman High will now take on Anglo-Chinese School (International) in a quarterfinal slated for Thursday, 23 August 07, at CCAB. Tip-off is at 2 pm.
