sportsmanship is very important to every athlete out there. it’s been greatly emphasised and it doesn’t matter whether it’s a win or loss, because sportsmanship is more important. did i mention that winners ought to be humble too? pride comes before a fall.
this especially refers to Johnson and his fellow mocking buddies who just prefer to think that SR finds excuses all the time to cover up.
i would like to inform you that SR greatly emphasises on good values like integrity and of course our well-being and character building. we do not cheat like how jjc did (quoted by rugbyplayer) and we don’t mock other teams based on wins and losses. cause we know how much effort each team has to put in and how much heart.
also, regarding comments about sr putting in their full strength and yet losing to teams like pj and jj… for goodness sake, who are you to judge? please at least have some basic respect for yourself before you open your mouth and start mocking other teams to let yourself feel good and let your head get any bigger. it’s just such a pathetic attempt and shows how poorly you’ve been brought up.
btw, yes, sr did close rubgy down. but is it something for you to mock at? just because your cca is still going on? i pity your school really, to have such ruggers who lack basic respect and values. you guys probably don’t even appreciate anything in life and just let yourself get so big on winning.
yet sr closed a team down with ruggers of gd potential and alot of heart. they love the sport so much that they practically live for rugby.
i don’t see how’s that fair. especially when all ruggers have to train so hard and endure all sorts of injuries that could potentially scar them for life.
it sure doesn’t give you any right to mock others
who didn’t win your team. what poor sportsmanship you have. i pity you.
and i am so sorry that we are a joke to some of you. but we played our hearts out despite having such little time to appreciate this passionate sport. if you are a true rugger or one to comment, please do not mock other teams or put them down.
we do not find excuses for our losses. yes, we did lose and it was because we didnt play well at all. due to our own mistakes we lost. not because our main players were out. everyone on the SR team are equally good.
well actually the JJC only had 2 players from the second team.I’m not from SR but you have to feel for them.Firstly they have a small team in numbers, second well yes every team has injuries but when u have a small number of players enought to fill 6 on the bench and have about 7 or 8 injured they had to place players that were injured n the field just to play.If im not wrong,CJC,PJC and JJC do take in DSA players unlike SR that has players who started when they were in JC1.So we do have to give them some credit. The JJC match was one they were really cheated of a win but thats history.I’m just saying we as a rugby community should support other teams and feel their grievances.
Hello. I heard that half of that jjc team that time were from 2nd team. And JJC still won btw. Well anw thats only what i heard from others, so i shall not dwell on that. But the thing is that in the end, did sr even win anything?
A school will not close down a cca for fun. This shows that sr rugby is closing down for a reason.
does sr always find an excuse? every team haf injuries, dude…
The PJC chinese guy in ‘full flight’ is Yuhan. The PJC Malay guy in the 4th picture is Syazwan and the the teammate who ‘looks on’ is Kai Boon.
SRplayed without all their main players..all out injured. That really ruined their chances. SR held JJc to a 14-5 win.that was when SR was at their full strength
srjc had tried their best and that was their best.
thank u sr for bringing humour into rugby union. it wld be very boring if every team plays gd rugby.
Ah thanks for letting me know.
Les,the plate final will be played before the cup final this coming wednesday at 3pm. See you there.
