Zainap Osman, 41, turned out for Kolam Ayer in the Community Games netball competition. When she is not busy with her work as an occupation editor, the energetic lady is running or playing a sport. We catch up with her to find out more about what makes her tick.
"We are come from different clubs — Bedok Kings, Zenith, Extremem, Speed, SCC, Lab 10. Last time, we just knew their faces but not their names," added Jini, as she is known to her friends.
"I volunteered for netball. It's been years since I played netball!" said Shaista Akhtar, 25, on the sidelines of the Community Games netball tournament.
"We are still making mistakes!" said Malkit, 50, after her team, Moulmein CSC beat Kampong Glam 6-3 in their opening game of the Community Games netball tournament.
Kong Weng Kai, 54 and David Seow Teck Chye, 53, represented Queenstown CSC’s Badminton team in the Community Games where they partnered each other in the Men’s Doubles Masters category.
The Queenstown CSC’s Team B is one badminton team made up of people from all walks of life. They stayed near each other, but never really knew one another until the Community Games.
Tanjong Pagar Smashers beat Queenstown CSC Team B 3-2 to record their first win in Group B of the Tanjong Pagar cluster for the Community Games Badminton tournament.
Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru CSC beat Queenstown CSC Team A 3-2 to finish on top of Group A in the Tanjong Pagar cluster for the Community Games Badminton tournament.
