Swimmers break 16 records at 49th National Inter-School Championships

16 meet records were broken at the recently concluded 49th National Inter-School Swimming Championships with Edith Ong of Raffles Junior College breaking a record four times throughout the championships.

Raffles schools complete unprecedented sweep of 6 swimming division titles

Traditional swimming powerhouse Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) had no answer this time to the prowess of the Raffles Institution swimmers as they surrendered both B and C boys Division swimming titles for the first time in living memory. Raffles Girls' School clinched both the B and C girls Division titles while Raffles Junior College captured both the A Division boys and girls titles for good measure.

Zachary Ryan of ACS(I) smashes 800m U-14 record at WALA Athletics Meet

Not only did the dimunitive Zachary Ryan outrun the strapping Australians at the U-14 800m event at the WALA International Athletics Championships held in Singapore, he did it in style, erasing the previous record by 0.09 seconds.

Bryan Koh wins decider to help ACS(I) clinch A Division Squash Championship

The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) beat Raffles Junior College 3-2 to clinch the National A Division Squash Championship title last week. The A Division Squash Championship had ground to a complete halt when a complaint had been lodged with the organisers over Bryan Tay's eligibility. The bizarre complaint was that Bryan Tay was too young.

Raffles Junior College beat Anglo-Chinese (Independent) to win badminton championship

Raffles Junior College swept aside the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) 5-0 to win the A Division Boys Badminton Championship. RJC are double champions after their girls team also won the girls' championship.

Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) drub Anglo-Chinese Junior College 4-1 in a battle of brothers

They say that a battle between siblings is often the bloodiest. When the Anglo-Chinese School(Independent) met Anglo-Chinese Junior College on the hockey field, it was a no holds barred, a winner take all game. ACS(I) eventually won 4-1.
