Toa Payoh Sports Hall, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 – Raffles Junior College swept aside Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) 5-0 to win the A Division Boys Badminton Championship. RJC are double champions after their girls team also won the girls’ championship. In this match, it was a clean sweep in every set as RJC outplayed their ACS(I) opponents. By the time the first doubles match had ended, the ACS(I) camp seemed to have given up hope of winning. A last-ditch attempt by Tan Xin Quan of ACS(I) was staged after losing the first set to Shawn from RJC. However, he was outplayed and finished off without making much of an impact. Nevertheless, it was still a valiant attempt by the boys from ACS(I) to fight for the trophy. Good job, RJC!
