Commonwealth Games 2010: Team Singapore athletes earn a combined $1.88 million reward

Team Singapore athletes returned from the recently concluded 19th Commonwealth Games to a reward of S$1.88 million dollars. The Multi-Million Dollar Award Programme (MAP), administered by the Singapore National Olympic Council and sponsored by the Tote Board and Singapore Pools, provides cash rewards for athletes who win medals.

Commonwealth Games Shooting: Nigel Lim and Gai Bin add another two medals to Singapore’s tally in 50m Pistol Final

Shooters Gai Bin and Nigel Lim added a silver and bronze respectively to Singapore's medal tally in the 50m Pistol event. A lane change because of a technical problem threw Nigel off and he eventually finished with 644.7 points. India's Omkar Singh won the gold with 653.6 while Gai Bin amassed 649.6.
