RUGBY
This is an anonymous update from a Red Sports reader whom I believe is from St Andrew’s. Thanks!
Russell Thio of ACS(I) grinds it out against RI.
GROUP 1: Saints, ACS(I), ACS Barker Rd, RI
GROUP 2: SJI, Unity Sec, Pioneer Sec, Pierce Sec
Yup! Saints will be taking on arch-rival ACS(I) early this season! This might be the preview of the Finals! It will be held on Tuesday, 27 March at 4.30pm at St Andrew’s Village (SAJC Sports Stadium). Be sure to catch it!
Editor’s note: As I understand it, ACS(BR) played Saints on March 8 at St Andrew’s Junior College. Anyone know the score of that one? Pictures? Stories? Please feel free to leave a comment so that our readers can know more about it. Thanks.

Comments from reader Gue Kit Wan:
Yes I did watch the game, this few matches are crucial for the Saints…like what you’ve mentioned a good preview of the Finals would be on the 27th march. But nothing is aboslute yet till the Finals.
ACS barker did put on a good fight against Saints (score margins aside)…though the Saints scored the first try within 5 mins into the game, the rest of the game wasn’t a breeze at all for the Saints. This second round would be a exciting one…with traditional Rugby playing schools being grouped together ie ( SAS, RI, ACS)…heard there’s a outcry over such arrangement…on the other hand, ‘ve heard that other teams like Pioneer sec are doing resonably well conceding to ACS (i) 17 – 7 ( respectable score).
Saints Beat ACS(barker) 34 – 5
First half 14-0
Second Half 20-5
