Hougang Sports Hall, Monday, 1 February, 2016 — Spectra Secondary (SS) overwhelmed Assumption Pathway School (APS) 9-0 in the National B Division Floorball Championship to clinch their first win of the season, after having went down to Bukit Merah previously in their opening match. With regards to Assumption Pathway, this is their second defeat in this season so far.
Koh Soon An (SS #4), Muhammad Shafiq bin Iskandar (SS #16), Ahmad Farihin bin Nor Affandi (SS #25) had two goals each.
Spectra bagged three goals in each period.
Spectra took the lead in the first period, outscoring Assumption Pathway School 3-0 with their excellent passes and technique. Loud whistles could be heard echoing through the court with every goal that Spectra scored.
In the second period, Spectra accelerated their attacks, not giving APS a break. At the same time, they managed to build a solid defense that APS could not break through.
The third period saw one man down for Spectra when Muhammad Zafran (SS #20) got injured. It was heart warming to see that his teammates offered to lend him a hand when he was down.
This, however, did not stop Spectra’s scoring streak. Spectra’s consistent play eventually led them to a 9-0 victory.
