Singapore Institute of Management, Monday, September 28, 2015 — Defending champions Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) completed a clean sweep of their round robin games, defeating National University of Singapore (NUS) 3-0 to advance to the final of the Singapore University Games (SUniG) women’s volleyball championship.

Unforced errors came back to haunt NUS in the game, as they conceded four straight points early to allow SIM to build on the lead.

SIM took the first set, but not before Ryshire Wu (#2) and Cheryl Koh (#8) helped NUS reduce the deficit to just six points.

The second set saw NUS breathe down SIM’s neck, matching them point for point.

However, led by Tan Yi Ting (#2) and Lim Chien Wen (#9), SIM edged their opponents out and eventually banked on their experience to clinch the second and third sets.
