RVHS easily picked up a three up, three down on the first three HCI batters to step up to the plate to hold their 5–0 lead.

After striking out the first batter, HCI pitcher Xue Yi (HCI #13) allowed Gracie (RVHS #21) and Janice (RVHS #20) to hit back-to-back singles. They then came around to score two more runs for RVHS for a 7–0 lead.

Vivian Wong (RVHS #33) said, “I feel that the team did their best and I’m very proud of them. The team trained very hard, and they deserved the win.”

RVHS advances to the next round of the playoffs and will face the victor of the Anglo-Chinese Junior College-Victoria Junior College game for a chance to play in the final.
