Ahmad Ibrahim finished the quarter with only five points as New Town added seven more to their tally to win the game 43–22.

“It is quite an enjoyable game. The team played very well today, even though we did not train much due to the holidays,” said Noelle, the captain of New Town.

Ahmad Ibrahim’s captain, Ke Ning, commented: “We did well at the start, but we could not control our emotions when New Town caught up with us. The team stepped up in the last quarter but it was too late. The good thing was that none of us gave up and we continued to give our best.”
