Unity also showed depth in the squad, with the coach rotating his players throughout the game.

With the score at 100-5 by the end of the third quarter, Unity started shooting more three-pointers, eventually sinking four in that quarter, courtesy of two from Foo Jun Lin (#10), John Christopher (#7), and Thng Yong An (#5).

Unity captain Kovic Lee (#8), was glad about the team’s emphatic win.

“The team played very well, but we could have improved our defence. We expect to go all the way to the semi-finals and finals, and then to Nationals,” said Kovic.

He also touted Jurong Secondary as their main rival in the West Zone.
