Republic Polytechnic, Thursday, January 13, 2011 — Defending champions, the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) started their campaign on a winning note with a 5-1 victory over the Singapore Management University (SMU) in the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Girls’ Floorball Championship.

Lai Soak Kuan (NTU #11) scored a hat trick while Stephanie Fong (#5) and Afiqah Adil (#33) contributed one each to ensure a convincing victory.

NTU will next face Ngee Ann Polytechnic on Saturday.
