Clementi Sports Hall, Friday, March 26, 2010 – Unity Secondary rolled over Manjusri Secondary 75-17 in a preliminary round game of the National B Division Girls Basketball Championship.

The Unity team were clearly too strong for Manjusri, allowing the East Zone team their first points only mid way through the first quarter.

Manusri’s best player #13 became the target of the Unity defense as the game went on as the West Zone champions continued to rack up the points at will.

By half-time, Unity were ahead 33-8.

With the huge lead, the Unity coach rested some of his key players Ramona (#15) and Diane (#10) as he rotated his bench players in.

Unity went on to close out the win, limiting Manjusri to just nine points in the second half.

In the other Group B match, Yishun Town Secondary beat Raffles Girls’ School 42-38.
