Republic Polytechnic Sports Complex Badminton Hall, Monday, October 26, 2009 – The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) continued their winning streak with an 8-0 trashing of Singapore Polytechnic (SP) in the girls’ Polytechnic-Institute of Technical Education (POL-ITE) Floorball Championship.

ITE opened the match with a goal in the 6th minute by Nurliyana Osman (#18) with an assist by captain Amira Saffeeyah (#9).

Amira Saffeeyah assisted on another goal a minute later with Debbie Poh (#38) bringing the score to 2-0.

Debbie went solo and scored at 12.22, and completed hat-trick barely half a minute later to make it 4-0.

At 20.24, Filzah Miranti (ITE#8) received a pass from Noridah Abdullah (#40) to secure ITE's first goal in the second period and fifth for the game.

Debbie's amazing skills saw her score her fourth goal of the game at 26.52 for ITE to make it 6-0 before Noridah got her goal at 34.31, unassisted, to make it 7-0 for ITE. Debbie's scoring rampage continued a minute later with her fifth goal and ITE's eighth and final goal.

ITE are now third on the table just behind Nanyang Polytechnic who have a superior goal difference and a one-game advantage.
