River Valley High, Friday, February 6, 2009 -Â Methodist Girls School (MGS) thrashed Juying Secondary 64-2 to win their B Division Girls West Zone Netball Championship Group A match.
The MGS victory was never in doubt the moment the game started. MGS played the game with confidence and took strong control of the game.
Juying on the other hand, could not score another after their first goal during the second minute of the game.
Bad passes and poor footwork caused Juying to lose many of their centre passes. Nonetheless, Juying managed to force in MGS into committing a few turnovers during the second half.
With this win, MGS remain top of Group A.
In Group C, Nanyang Girls' High and Clementi Town Secondary continue to challenge each other for the remaining spot in Round Two. River Valley High remains unbeaten in the group.
