Story by REDintern Gerald Koh.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic, October 17, 2008 – Temasek Polytechnic (TP) struggled all evening to penetrate the Republic Polytechnic (RP) defence and found themselves limited mostly to potshots from distance. This was clearly evident as they found themselves trailing 3-0 at half-time in their Polytechnic-ITE Games encounter.

But the game was more even than the half-time score would have you think. Throughout the game, both teams had almost equal amount of possession and both had their passing games going for them. TP just lacked the cutting edge in front of goal.

The story remained the same throughout the game as RP’s sharpshooting helped them to a 5-0 win over TP and keeps them firmly in the driving seat to win the POL-ITE championship.
