Geylang Serai CC, Sunday, December 16th, 2007 – Catholic High School beat Seng Kang Secondary 81-57 while the girls of Unity Secondary overcame Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary 74-48 to emerge as champions of the 2007 Dr Fatimah Under-16 Tournament, one of the biggest basketball tournaments for school teams. Chong Ming Xuan (#14, Catholic High) and Yvonne Tan (#4, Unity) won the Most Valuable Player awards. In the 3rd and 4th playoff matches, the boys of Woodlands Ring beat Hougang 66-47 while Nanyang Girls’ beat Zhong Hua 59-56.
