Bukit Panjang Government High beat Xinmin Secondary 3-0 to win the National C Division Boys' Volleyball Championship. They team were undefeated throughout the season, winning a total of 14 zonal and national championship matches.
Xinmin Secondary beat Shuqun Secondary 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 29-27) at the National B Division Boys' 3rd/4th placing match.
The second round of the B Division National Schools Volleyball Championship will kick off in the second term. All matches will be held at Presbyterian High.
Jurong Secondary made a comeback in the second set to hold off Xinmin Secondary 2-0 (25-12, 25-21) in their final Group B match at the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship. In the other group match, Dunman Secondary saw off Yuying Secondary 2-0 (25-7, 25-20) to earn a spot in the second round of the competition. With their win, Jurong take top spot in the group whereas Dunman finish second.
Dunman Secondary are back on track in their quest towards retaining their championship title after seeing off Xinmin Secondary 2-0 (25-20, 25-10) in their round one Group B match at the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship. After an unfortunate loss to Jurong Secondary in their previous match, a win over Yuying Secondary in their next match will assure them a place in the next round.
Jurong Secondary received a boost in their quest to the championship final after they defeated Dunman Secondary in their first round Group B match at the National B Division girls’ volleyball championship. Dunman, who are the 2010 defending champion and current East Zone champion, conceded to Jurong 2-0 (25-21, 25-17). In the other Group B match, Xinmin Secondary brushed off Yuying Secondary 2-0 (25-11, 25-12).
St Hilda’s Secondary beat Bukit Panjang Government 2-0 to win the U13 Boys National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 final. In the earlier 3/4th placing match, Dunman Secondary came from one set down to beat Xinmin Secondary 2-1.
St Hilda's Secondary and Bukit Panjang Government High have booked a place in the U13 Boys National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 final after winning their respective semi-final matches. St Hilda's overcame Xinmin Secondary 2-0 (25-18, 25-18) whereas Bukit Panjang defeated Dunman Secondary 2-0 (25-14, 25-15).
