S.League All Stars announced for charity game against Albirex Niigata

The S.League All Stars side to face the Albirex Niigata Selection in a charity match to raise funds for the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami was announced today. A host of Japanese footballing royalty, including former internationals Hidetoshi Nakata, Masaaki Sawanobori and Masakiyo Maezono, will play for the Albirex Niigata Singapore Selection side.

Yemen vs Singapore Olympic qualifiers to be played in United Arab Emirates

FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have jointly decided that the matches between Yemen and Singapore in the Asian Men’s Preliminary Competition for the Olympic Football Tournaments London 2012 will be played at the Khalifa Stadium, Al Ain Club (Al Ain City) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 19th & 21st March 2011.

Courts announce landmark partnership with Singapore’s Young Lions

In what can only be described as a major development in Singapore football, regional retailing giant Courts announced today that it has signed on to become the official title sponsor of Young Lions Football Club, a team currently featuring in the S.League. With immediate effect, the team will be known as the Courts Young Lions.
