The Youth Olympic Games are just around the corner and 130 Singaporean athletes will do battle in the red and white of Singapore. So feel free to express your best wishes to the athletes, especially if they are your teammates or your schoolmate, if they are your brother or your sister, if they are your son or your daughter.

Shawn Ann Leong is one such talented Singaporean woman who qualified outright for a spot in the women's 50-54 years category in the 2009 Kona Ironman at the age of 50.

Singapore Management University sweep top five places at Bintan Triathlon

15 members of the Singapore Management University aquathlon team competed in the Bintan Triathlon. Eugene Lim, Xuan Sheng Ou Yong and Lionel Wong swept the podium of the Olympic Distance category while Benjamin Lau and Freddy Ng took first and third positions in the Sprint Distance category. Youth athletes get nod for 2010 Youth Olympic Games

The SNOC Games Selection Committee chaired by Minister Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Defence and President SNOC met today to select Team Singapore athletes and teams for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

Australians win elite categories at 2010 Singapore Triathlon

Australians Anthony McSweeney and Erin Densham won their respective elite gender categories at the Osim Singapore International Triathlon held last weekend. The event saw 3,600 participants across various categories, a slight drop from last year's overall numbers. For the first time in seven years, the event also did not sell out by the closing date and the registration period was extended.
