Monday, March 28, 2011 — Bad weather caused the postponement of two games on the opening day of the 2011 A Division Boys Football Championship but the other two games scheduled for the day went ahead according to schedule.

Serangoon Junior College (SRJC) beat Temasek JC 3-0 at SRJC but the earlier game between Millennia Institute and River Valley High game was postponed because of lightning.

Over at Victoria JC, the home team beat NUS High 4-0, with all the goals coming in the second half, after a resilient and disciplined performance by the NUS High defense saw the first half end 0-0.

Defending champions Meridian JC will open their title defense against Anglo-Chinese School (International) while St Andrew’s JC, last year’s runners-up, entertain Nanyang JC.

Other games will see Dunman High take on Yishun JC, Anglo-Chinese JC will play Tampines JC and Anderson JC will go up against Catholic JC.
