FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have jointly decided that the matches between Yemen and Singapore in the Asian Men’s Preliminary Competition for the Olympic Football Tournaments London 2012 will be played at the Khalifa Stadium, Al Ain Club (Al Ain City) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 19th & 21st March 2011.

The Young Lions opened their S.League season on a losing note when they went down 0-2 to the Singapore Armed Forces FC.
In what can only be described as a major development in Singapore football, regional retailing giant Courts announced today that it has signed on to become the official title sponsor of Young Lions Football Club, a team currently featuring in the S.League. With immediate effect, the team will be known as the Courts Young Lions.
The FAS Disciplinary Committee arrived at their verdict today with regards to the charges of gross misconduct laid on Young Lions and Beijing Guoan Talent during their Great Eastern YEO’S S.League match on 07 September 2010 at the Jalan Besar Stadium. Both clubs have been docked five points and fined $5,000 each. The FAS Disciplinary Committee has also concluded that the match will not be replayed and the result will stand.
Five days after the fateful mass brawl incident between Young Lions and Beijing Guoan Talent FC, representatives from both teams met up for the first time for a luncheon session at Carousel, a restaurant located in Park Royal on Scotts.
The S.League game between the Young Lions and Beijing Guoan was abandoned in the 89th minute when a fight broke out.
